Voluntary Fasting

Narrated Abu Huraira

Allah's Messenger said: Deeds are shown on Monday and Thursday and I like that my deeds are shown while I am fasting.

Narrated Abu Dhar

Allah's Messenger commanded us to fast 3 days in the month; on the 13th, the 14th and the 15th.
