Good Deeds & Voluntary Fasting

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas

Allah's Messenger said: There are no days during which good deeds are more liked to Allah than during these days (He meant the first 10 days of Dhul Hijja).

They asked: O Messenger of Allah, not even Jihad in Allah's cause?

He said: Not even Jihad in Allah's cause except for a man who sets out with himself and his property, but nothing of these turns back.
