Qur'anic verses - The Psalms:

The Psalms are intended to be sung for the worship of God and the celebration of God's praise, which are still extant. Though their present form may possibly be different from the original, the collection contains much devotional poetry of a high order.

The spiritual gifts with which the prophets came may themselves take different forms, according to the needs of the world and the times in which they lived, as judged by the wisdom of God. We are not to judge other ordinary men, nor to set the standards for judging the men of God.
