Qur'anic verses - Slaughtering rite:

The solemn pronouncement of God's name, Who allowed slaughtering the animals for a just cause, over a sacrifice is an essential part of the rite.

Pronounce the name of God over them as they line up (for sacrifice): when they are down on their sides (after slaughter), eat ye thereof,
[Qur'an
22:36]

Eat not of (meats) on which God's name hath not been pronounced: That would be impiety.
[Qur'an
6:121]

In this respect, this is agreeable with the people of the Book. According to the Bible, the Acts of the apostles (15:29), the people of the book will abstain from meat offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled.
