The order and beauty of the Universe and the natural word on our planet show unity of design and purpose. The unity of the creation reflects the unity of the Creator.
A visit to the heart of a barren desert or an icy continent will soon force us away from the hostile climate back to the green lands and fertile meadows.
Seest thou
not that God sends down rain from the sky, and forthwith the earth becomes clothed
with green? Lo God is Subtile Aware.

We send down
water thereon, it doth thrill and swell and put forth every kind of beautiful growth.

The Holy Qur'an invites contemplation in the beauty and splendour of God's creation: a manifestation of the Oneness of God and the beauty and order of his creation.
It is He Who
sendeth down rain from the skies:
with it We produce vegetation
of all kinds: from some We
produce green (crops), out of which We
produce grain, heaped up (at harvest); out of the date-palm and its sheaths (or
spathes) (come) clusters of dates hanging low and near: and (then there are) gardens
of grapes, and olives, and pomegranates, each similar (in kind) yet different (in
variety): when they begin to bear fruit, feast your eyes with the fruit and the
ripeness thereof. Behold! in these things there are signs for people who believe.
