The Plains of Arafah and Mount al-Rahmah

The most distiguished ritual in the journey of Pilgrimage to Makkah is the great gathering in the Plains of Arafah. In this day, all Pilgrims camp in these plains to share one goal which is to submit themselves to their Lord asking for His mercy and forgiveness.

[And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways.]
