This group of Prophets consist of Preachers of Truth, who led solitary lives. Their epithet is: "the Righteous".

Zakariya was the father of John the Baptist, the precursor of Jesus.

Elias is the same as Elijah, who was a Prophet living in the reign of Ahab and Ahaziah, kings of Israel (B.C. 896-872).
