1. Stand in reverence and humility, facing the qiblah, with clear intention in mind, raising the hands up to the ears, and saying:

God is Greatest.

2. While standing, start with this supplication (optional):

Glory be to you O Lord, and Yours is the praise, and blessed is Your name, and exalted is Your majesty, and no god besides You. I seek refuge with God from the condemned devil. In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

subhana-ka Allahumma wa bi-hamdi-k; wa tabaraka smu-k; wa ta'ala jaddu-k; wa-la ilaha ghayru-k; a'udhu bi Allahi min al-shaytan al-rajim. Bism Allahi al-rahman al-rahim.

Then, recite the first Chapter of the Qur'an, the Opening, followed by a passage from any other Chapter.
3. Before bowing (ruku'), say: "God is Greatest," and while bowing, say (3 times):

Glory to my Lord the Great.

4. After bowing, resume the standing posture, saying:

God hears any who praises Him; Our Lord; praise be to You.

5. The worshipper then says: "God is Greatest," and prostrates. While prostrating, say (3 times):

Glory to my Lord the Most High.

6. After prostration (sujud), sit with a short rest before resuming a second prostration.
This completes one unit (rak'ah) of the prayer. The second unit starts with saying "God is Greatest" without repeating the first supplication, and so on. After the second and the last unit (rak'ah) of the prayer, remain in sitting posture to read the tashahud: (Part 1, after the second rak'ah)

All reverence, all worship, all sanctity are due to God. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of God and His blessings. Peace be upon us all and on the righteous servants of God. I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His Apostle.

al tahiyyatu li Allahi wa al salawatu wa al tayyibat; al salamu 'alay-ka ayyuha al nabiyy rahmat Allahi wa barakatu-h; al salamu 'alay-na wa 'ala 'ibad Allahi al salihin; ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah wahda-hu la sharika la-h wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan 'abdu-hu wa rasulu-h.

O God! Exalt Muhammad and the people of Muhammad, as You did exalt Abraham and the people of Abraham. And bless Muhammad and the people of Muhammad, as You did bless Abraham and the people of Abraham in the worlds; indeed You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.

7. Finally, end the prayer by turning the face to the right side, saying: (then, similarly, to the left side)
