Samee Chaudhry asks: Will we be able to see God?

The believers will see their Lord at the Paradise, and that will be the greatest of all rewards. God Said:

(23) وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌ (22) إِلَى رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ
Some faces that Day shall shining and radiant, looking towards their Lord.
[Qur'an 75:22-23]

God does not give this pleasure to anyone but the believers, and the evil-doers will not see God. God said:

كَلَّا إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ
Nay! Surely, they (evil-doers) will be veiled from seeing their Lord that Day.
[Qur'an 83:15]

Looking at God (Allah) in the Paradise will be more pleasing and rewarding than the Paradise itself. The Messenger of Allah (God), peace be upon him, said (as reported by Muslim):

When the people of Paradise enter the Paradise,

God will say: Do you want Me to give you more?

They will say: Haven't you brightened our faces? Haven't you entered us into Paradise and saved us from the Fire?

Then God will remove the veil and they will not be given anything more beloved to them than looking at their Lord.
