The Muslim's Diary

God said in the Holy Qur'an:

Therefore be patient with what they say, and celebrate (constantly) the praises of thy Lord, before the rising of the sun, and before its setting; yea, celebrate them for part of the hours of the night, and at the sides of the day: that thou mayest have (spiritual) joy.
[
Qur'an 20:130]

and,

The Praises of thy Lord in the evening and in the morning.
[
Qur'an 40:55]

and,

So (give) glory to God, when ye reach eventide and when ye rise in the morning.
[
Qur'an 30:17]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said: "Glory to God and Praise be to Him", one who has said it a hundred times, their sins would be pardoned even if they were like froth of the sea.

Exorcize every kind of evil, superstition and fear by reciting the "Purity of Faith", "The Dawn", and "Mankind" three times, in the morning and evening.

Purity of Faith:

Say: He is God, the One and Only; God, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; and there is none like unto Him.
[Qur'an
112:1-4]

The Dawn:

Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn, from the mischief of created things; from the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads; from the mischief of those who practise Secret Arts; and from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy.
[Qur'an
113:1-5]

Mankind:

Say I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind, the King (or Ruler) of Mankind, the God (or Judge) of Mankind,--- from the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),--- (the same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,--- among Jinn and among Men.
[Qur'an
114:1-6]

Recite the "Verse of the Throne" every evening; this will grant God's guardianship and put away Evil temptation until morning.

Verse of the Throne:

God! There is no god but He,--- the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).
[Qur'an
2:255]
